We provide Re-maps for most cars even the newer cars fitted with the latest generation of Bosch EDC-16+ / ME-9, Siemens, Marelli and Delphi ECU's. Most cars are re-map'd via the on-board diagnostic socket and can be easily be reverted to total factory standard. In recent years there has been a huge increase in companies offering ECU re-maps, There are even tyre fitters doing it! Because of this we have seen a massive increase in problems caused by poor "performance" software, Common problems are blown turbochargers caused by the boost been set well past the limits of a stock turbo. Slipping clutches and damaged dual mass flywheels caused by low rpm torque spikes; The list goes on and on. We also see a huge amount of poorly tune software which will give either very small gains in power or poor drivability.
