Foden 4000 Series Class B Racing Truck

Truck Specification

Engine: Perkins/Rolls Royce Eagle TX410 (410 BHP) with race prepared turbo, ( Soon to be fitted with Garrett GT-42 Roller Bearing turbo), Modified injector pump and injectors, Intercooler water spray. Engine and transmission moved further back in the chassis to allow better weight distribution.

Power output:- 900-1100 bhp depending on race set up.

Transmission: Specially made rear diff specific ratio for racing.

Suspension: Lowered suspension with gas adjustable shock absorbers all round and anti roll bars.

Gearbox: Eaton/Fuller 9 speed Gearbox derived from a road going truck, Locked in high range to give 5 speed.

Brakes: Adjustable in cab braking system with water cooling

Weight: Kerb weight to minimum within the regulations (5500 Kg)

Top Speed: Speed limited to 160 KM/H under FIA regulations
